Steps to set up your scheduled EFT on your bank
Find the steps below to set up your Scheduled Purchase (for existing Prepaid24 clients only):
Absa Online Banking
- Log in to your Absa online banking and select Payments.
- Choose Recurring payments and add your scheduled payment.
- Select your Prepaid24 beneficiary.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 4074826482
Branch: 632005 - Enter the payment amount.
- Choose the account from which the payment will be made.
- Select the payment frequency and set a start and end date. The system will display the total number of payments.
- Enter the beneficiary name (Prepaid24) and your meter number as your purchase reference.
- Select Next.
- Enter your own and the beneficiary’s notice of payment details, then select Next.
- Review the confirmation screen and make sure all details are correct.
- Select Confirm.
Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.

Capitec App
- Log in to your Capitec app and select the middle Transact icon.
- Select Recurring/future-dated.
- Choose Payment.
- Select your Prepaid24 beneficiary.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 1050768370
Branch: 450105. This will be filled in automatically when you choose Capitec Business as the bank.
Please note: If 470010 appears, then Capitec Bank was selected. Please select Capitec Business to prevent payment issues from occurring. - Enter the amount you wish to pay.
- Select the circle next to Recurring on the far right.
- Select Choose frequency and choose the payment frequency.
- Enter the Start date and End date to set the duration of the scheduled payment.
- Under Beneficiary reference, enter your meter number. Add a personal description under My statement description.
- Select Add.
- Confirm the pop-up message and select Done to complete the setup.
Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.
Capitec Online Banking
- Log in to your Capitec online banking via https://direct.capitecbank.co.za/ibank/.
- Select Go to payments menu and then Pay a beneficiary.
- Select your Prepaid24 beneficiary next to My beneficiary.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 1050768370
Branch: 450105. This will be filled in automatically when you choose Capitec Business as the bank.
Please note: If 470010 appears, then Capitec Bank was selected. Please select Capitec Business to prevent payment issues from occurring. - Select Pay the selected beneficiary (pay now, once or more than once on a future date).
- Ensure that your meter number is entered next to Description.
- Enter the amount to be paid under Amount to pay.
- Select Pay this amount more than once on future dates and provide the following details:
- The frequency of your payments
- The start date of your payments
- The end date and or the number of payments
- Select Pay this amount more than once on future dates again.
- Open your Capitec App and enter your PIN to approve the scheduled payment.
Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.

FNB App
- Log in to your FNB App.
- Select Payments and then Scheduled Payments.
- Select Add and then New recipient.
- Choose Specify recipient account details.
- Choose Select bank/branch or Enter BIC code.
- Enter Prepaid24’s FNB banking details.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 62240938003
Branch: 261050 - Enter the required information, including the account, amount, references and scheduled payment dates.
- Confirm the transaction and select Finished.
*Please note that your meter number must be used as your purchase reference for this scheduled payment.
Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.
FNB Online Banking
- Log in to your FNB online banking and select the Pay tab.
- Select Scheduled Payments and then Add.
- Complete the fields displayed on the screen.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 62240938003
Branch: 261050 - Select Add at the bottom right.
- Review the confirmation screen. If you need to make changes, select Edit. If you are satisfied with the details, select Confirm.
- The next screen will display the final details of your scheduled payment. Select Finish.
*Please note that your meter number must be used as your purchase reference for this scheduled payment.
Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.

Nedbank App
- Log in to your Nedbank App.
- Go to Overview and select My accounts.
- Swipe left to access Investments.
- Select Features and then Recurring payments.
- Provide the following details:
- The frequency of your payments
- The day on which the payment should be made
- The amount you would like to pay each time
- The account from which the payments will be made
- Select Set up.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following Nedbank banking details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 1216135916
Branch: 121617

Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.
Nedbank Online Banking
- Log in to your Nedbank Online Banking using your Nedbank ID.
- Go to Overview and select My accounts.
- Choose Investments from the account menu.
- Select Features and then Recurring payments.
- Provide the following details:
- The frequency of your payments
- The day on which the payment should be made
- The amount you would like to pay each time
- The account from which the payments will be made
- Select Set up.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following Nedbank banking details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 1216135916
Branch: 121617

Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.

Standard Bank App
- Log in to your Standard Bank App.
- On the home screen, select Transact and then Pay.
- Find the Prepaid24 beneficiary and select PAY next to it.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following Standard Bank banking details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 281673195
Branch: 050017 - On the Payment Details screen, select the account from which you would like to pay under From.
- Under To enter the amount you would like to pay and select Schedule Payment to set up the payments:
- Move the Schedule this payment toggle to the right
- Choose the frequency of your payments under How often
- Select the Number of payments you would like to make
- Set the First payment date
- Select DONE at the top right.
- Back on the Payment Details screen, the number of scheduled payments will be displayed. Select REVIEW at the top right.
- Confirm that all details are correct and select CONFIRM at the top right to complete the setup.

Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.
Standard Bank Online Banking
- Log in to your Standard Bank Online Banking via https://bankonline.sboff.com/signin.
- Select Payment and then Repeat payment from the sub-menu.
- Select the account from which you would like to make the scheduled payments.
- Enter the amount you would like to pay next to your Prepaid24 beneficiary.
If you have not added Prepaid24 as a beneficiary yet, use the following Standard Bank banking details:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 281673195
Branch: 050017 - Select Submit and provide the following details:
- The frequency of your payments
- The start date of your payments
- The end date or the number of payments
- Select Next.
- Review and confirm the payment details, then select Submit.
- To check the status of your payments: OK indicates a successful payment, while Failed indicates an unsuccessful transaction. You can hover over Failed to view the reason.

Once these steps are completed, your payments will be processed according to the schedule you selected and you will receive your tokens or product confirmations accordingly.
Not seeing your bank?
While we currently only provide step-by-step guides for South Africa's five major banks, most banks do allow you to set up scheduled or recurring EFT payments from your online banking or banking app.
To proceed, add Prepaid24's Absa banking details as a beneficiary:
Account name: Prepaid24
Account number: 4074826482
Branch: 632005
You can then go ahead and schedule your payment for your preferred date and amount, using your meter number as your purchase reference.
